House Resolution 1367

A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Deputy Nicholas Glass; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, on the evening of October 25, 2025, Deputy Nicholas Glass, along with Deputy Anthony Pacifico, faced a violent, life-threatening attack in the line of duty while heroically carrying out the difficult responsibilities of their vocation; and

WHEREAS, Deputy Nicholas Glass is highly regarded by the citizens of his community and state and by local government officials as a person of unquestioned integrity and dedication to the sound principles of law enforcement; and

WHEREAS, Deputy Nicholas Glass exhibits extraordinary devotion to public service, outstanding loyalty, fine leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in all of his duties; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that gratitude is expressed for the unique and often unheralded contributions of local law enforcement professionals on behalf of the citizens of this state.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the care, courage, sympathy, and selfless dedication exhibited by Deputy Nicholas Glass in carrying out the difficult duties of his vocation and express their utmost appreciation for having so purely and truly defined for others the meaning of public servant.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Deputy Nicholas Glass.
