A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and honoring Micah Robinson-Womack as a Phenomenal Woman of service, leadership, and community impact; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Micah Robinson-Womack is a dedicated community leader, mentor, and retired public service professional whose life exemplifies integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to others; and

WHEREAS, for more than 30 years, she faithfully served the citizens of Georgia through her distinguished career with the Fulton County Superior Court, demonstrating professionalism, respect for justice, and a deep commitment to public service before retiring with honor; and

WHEREAS, for over 17 years, Micah Robinson-Womack has been an extraordinary leader within the Atlanta Area Council of Scouting, serving in numerous capacities and currently holding the esteemed position of Commissioner for the Southern Crescent District, where she mentors volunteers, strengthens units, and uplifts youth across the district; and

WHEREAS, her remarkable contributions to Scouting and the broader community have been recognized with some of the organization's highest honors, including the Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award, the Silver Beaver Award, and the District Award of Merit, reflecting her exceptional leadership and enduring impact; and

WHEREAS, as a proud mother of an Eagle Scout, she understands the transformative power of mentorship and service, and she has dedicated herself to ensuring that youth and families are equipped with the tools, guidance, and opportunities needed to succeed; and

WHEREAS, her commitment to young people extends throughout Clayton County, where she has served as Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, and a devoted Parent-Teacher Organization

(PTO) leader, including two terms as PTO President at Morrow High School, and has been honored twice as Parent of the Year for her tireless advocacy and support of students and families; and

WHEREAS, as a loving wife, devoted mother, and steadfast community advocate, Micah Robinson-Womack believes that strong communities are built through mentorship, leadership development, compassion, and service; and

WHEREAS, her life's work reflects the very essence of what it means to be a Phenomenal Woman-one who leads with strength, serves with humility, and inspires through action.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body honor Micah Robinson-Womack as a Phenomenal Woman of Clayton County and the State of Georgia and recognize her for her extraordinary leadership, her enduring dedication to youth and families, and her lifelong commitment to building stronger communities.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Micah Robinson-Womack.
