A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Alisa Anderson; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Alisa Anderson currently serves as the founder and executive director of Women's Resources Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding women and low-income families by addressing their immediate needs and equipping them with the tools necessary to achieve their educational, financial, career, and spiritual goals; and

WHEREAS, under her leadership, Women's Resources Inc. has served over 80 families, provided meals to more than 3,600 individuals annually, empowered 24 entrepreneurs through training and mentorship, conducted extensive street outreach, and offered life skills coaching and professional development programs; and

WHEREAS, a graduate of DeVry University, Alisa's academic foundation and passion for service have been instrumental in shaping the impactful programs of Women's Resources Inc.; and

WHEREAS, through strategic partnerships with numerous nonprofit organizations, Alisa has greatly expanded the reach and impact of Women's Resources Inc., strengthening communities and transforming lives through collaborative efforts; and

WHEREAS, Alisa has served as a beacon of hope in her community by using her personal journey to inspire and uplift others, providing compassionate leadership and a faith-driven approach that helps women embrace purposeful and fulfilling lives; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable individual be appropriately honored for her unwavering commitment to resilience, faith, and service.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Alisa Anderson for her many outstanding contributions on behalf of her fellow citizens as well as extend best wishes for continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Alisa Anderson.
