A RESOLUTION
Commending the House Media Services session assistants for the 2026 regular session of the General Assembly of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, each year, the Georgia House of Representatives relies on staff members and service offices to ensure that the business of the body runs efficiently, smoothly, and effectively; and
WHEREAS, the House Media Services Office is a non-partisan media relations and member services office that provides a wide range of resources for House members, including facilitating media events, issuing press releases, scheduling meeting spaces, streaming and archiving committee meetings, and developing photography, videography, social media, and web content; and
WHEREAS, during the annual legislative session, the House Media Services Office relies on the expertise, dedication, and assistance of temporary employees who ensure that the office continues to provide these vital services in a timely and efficient manner; and
WHEREAS, the following 2026 House Media Services session assistants are abundantly worthy of recognition for their exemplary work: Saran Punmaneeluk, Sheila Mayo, Jeremy Thomas, Fletcher Johnson, and Allie Mayfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the House Media Services session assistants for the 2026 regular session of the General Assembly of Georgia on their superb performance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to each of the assistants named herein.
