A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and congratulating Oliver Van Peteghem; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Oliver Van Peteghem, representing South Forsyth High School, has demonstrated extraordinary dedication, discipline, and athletic prowess in the sport of competitive swimming; and
WHEREAS, in the field of competition, Oliver executed a performance in the 200 yard freestyle, clocking an elite time of 1:36.76, showcasing remarkable speed and technical precision; and
WHEREAS, Oliver further displayed exceptional endurance, and mental fortitude in the 500 yard freestyle, finishing with a commanding time of 4:27.04; and
WHEREAS, these times represent not only personal best, but also a standard of excellence that elevates the self Forsyth high school swimming program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Oliver Van Peteghem for his outstanding athletic results, his commitment to excellence, and his role as a premier student athlete in the south Forsyth community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Oliver Van Peteghem.
