A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending the transformative impact of blockchain technology; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, blockchain technology represents one of the most significant technological innovations of the 21st century, introducing decentralized, secure, and transparent computational frameworks for recording and verifying transactions; and

WHEREAS, blockchain systems enhance data integrity by utilizing distributed ledger mechanisms that reduce the risk of tampering, fraud, and unauthorized alteration; and

WHEREAS, the adoption of blockchain technology has revolutionized the manner in which digital information is stored, shared, and authenticated, promoting efficiency, reliability, and trust across modern and classic industries; and

WHEREAS, blockchain-driven solutions have demonstrated substantial advancements in financial feasibility by lowering transaction costs, reducing intermediaries, and enabling faster, more accessible global exchanges; and

WHEREAS, the transparency inherent in blockchain networks promotes accountability, fosters economic trust, and strengthens the credibility of financial and operational systems; and

WHEREAS, blockchain technology has provided innovative tools for improving economic accessibility, regulatory compliance, and auditability in both public and private sectors; and

WHEREAS, industries of all sizes, including finance, healthcare, logistics, governance, cybersecurity and others, have increasingly leveraged blockchain applications to enhance digital security, ensure regulatory compliance, streamline processes, and improve recordkeeping; and

WHEREAS, the continued exploration and responsible implementation of blockchain technologies may yield further benefits, including quantum proof data protection, limitless system operational capacities, and equitable access to digital technologies.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the benefits of blockchain technology, which have positively impacted millions of people across the State of Georgia, the United States, and all other parts of the world.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the public and the press.
