A RESOLUTION

Commending Tracie Naylor-Griffin; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to recognize individuals whose selfless service, unwavering dedication, and extraordinary character have made a lasting impact on their communities and the lives of others; and

WHEREAS, Tracie Naylor-Griffin has devoted more than three decades to the field of emergency medical services, serving both on the front lines of patient care and as a respected educator, shaping the next generation of EMS professionals; and

WHEREAS, as program chair of the Emergency Medical Services Department at Albany Technical College, Mrs. Naylor-Griffin has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence in education, inspiring countless students to pursue careers of service and compassion; and

WHEREAS, even as she faces a courageous battle with oral cancer, Mrs. Naylor-Griffin continues to exemplify unparalleled strength and devotion to her calling, choosing to remain actively engaged in her work despite a terminal diagnosis; and

WHEREAS, her steadfast resolve, humility, and perseverance stand as a testament to her love for her profession, her students, and her community, embodying the true spirit of a servant leader who gives herself completely in service to others.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Tracie Naylor-Griffin for her lifelong commitment to saving lives, educating others, and upholding the highest standards of the EMS profession. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Tracie Naylor-Griffin.
