A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Wellspring Living on the occasion of its 25th anniversary; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Wellspring Living is a nonprofit organization founded in 2001 dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals at risk of or victimized by sexual exploitation; and

WHEREAS, for 25 years, Wellspring Living has provided trauma-informed care, including safe housing, therapy, education, and workforce development, helping women and youth rebuild their lives and achieve independence; and

WHEREAS, the organization has grown from a single residential program into a comprehensive continuum of care, impacting thousands of survivors through its focus on housing, healing, and education; and

WHEREAS, Wellspring Living has served as a leader in the fight against human trafficking, working alongside community partners, state agencies, and national organizations to raise awareness, provide training, and strengthen prevention efforts; and

WHEREAS, the organization has provided safe nights, direct services, and life-changing support to thousands of survivors, offering hope, dignity, and opportunity to those overcoming trauma and exploitation; and

WHEREAS, Wellspring Living's commitment to compassion, restoration, and empowerment has made a lasting impact on the State of Georgia and beyond, exemplifying the highest ideals of service and community leadership; and

WHEREAS, the 25th anniversary of Wellspring Living marks a significant milestone in its continued mission to support survivors and prevent exploitation, reflecting a legacy of courage, resilience, and hope for future generations.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Wellspring Living for 25 years of outstanding service and extend their sincerest best wishes for continued success in its mission.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Wellspring Living.
