A RESOLUTION

Commending the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) of Atlanta supports member companies in achieving business results through its strategic commitment to civic engagement and social impact; and

WHEREAS, founded in 1992, the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta is the only CVC in the nation recognized three times as CVC of the Year by Points of Light, a nonpartisan international social impact organization; and

WHEREAS, the CVC of Atlanta is currently led by Yvonne Whitaker of the NCR Foundation as President, Brittany Church of Ryan LLC as Vice President, Kat Reynolds of Veritiv as Secretary, Geneva Hall-Shelton of IHG Hotels and Resorts as Treasurer, and Toccara Arnold Alam as Community Volunteer, all of whom bring diverse expertise and unwavering dedication to corporate excellence; and

WHEREAS, members of the CVC benefit from forums that focus on best practices for corporate community engagement and gain access to educational programming, networking, and leadership development opportunities; and

WHEREAS, the CVC further provides annual benefits such as industry-specific interest groups, access to nonprofit partnerships, and recognition opportunities through the IMPACT Awards and other press features; and

WHEREAS, the CVC membership comprises over 90 businesses, including prominent corporations such as Delta Air Lines, Deloitte, and Amazon, alongside nonprofit organizations like United Way of Greater Atlanta; and

WHEREAS, the CVC of Atlanta continues to inspire companies to achieve meaningful social impact and professional growth through their commitment to volunteerism and community engagement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta for its longstanding dedication to businesses operating in the State of Georgia and beyond as well as extend best wishes for continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta.
