A RESOLUTION

Commending Evan Marie Carr; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the second annual Tech Demo Day at the state capitol will be held March 13, 2025, hosted by Representative Dar'shun Kendrick; and

WHEREAS, this exciting event will both celebrate Women's History Month and highlight leaders from across the State of Georgia under the theme "Women In Artificial Intelligence"; and

WHEREAS, Evan Marie Carr is a pioneering force in AI innovation and educational technology who currently serves as the female co-founder of DarkViolet.ai, a majority woman-owned artificial intelligence company dedicated to advancing AI-driven learning solutions; and

WHEREAS, with over two decades of experience in the industry, she has led the development of Learn with Lumi, a groundbreaking educational platform that exemplifies her commitment to creating sophisticated yet human-centered AI solutions that enhance accessibility and personalized learning for all students; and

WHEREAS, Evan Marie Carr blends technical expertise with deep educational insight, driving innovation in AI-powered education and setting new standards for how technology can transform learning while preserving the essential human elements that make education meaningful; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstanding participant be appropriately honored for using her passion and creativity to make our state a better place in which to live and work.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Evan Marie Carr for her many remarkable career accomplishments as well as extend the most sincere gratitude for her dedicated efforts on behalf of the citizens of this state and beyond.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Evan Marie Carr.
