A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Richard L. Jackson, recipient of the 2025 Leaders in Corporate Citizenship Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Richard L. Jackson currently serves as the founder, chairman, and CEO of Jackson Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the United States, where he has been instrumental in conceptualizing and developing more than 30 healthcare companies; and

WHEREAS, he was selected recently by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as the recipient of the 2025 Leaders in Corporate Citizenship Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of the positive impact he has made on people and communities throughout his career; and

WHEREAS, the Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award, the program's highest honor, celebrates outstanding corporate citizens who have achieved a lifetime of service to the community; and

WHEREAS, in addition to Jackson Healthcare, he further serves as founder of Fostering Success Act Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing vital resources for young people aging out of Georgia's foster care system, and as co-founder and chair of FaithBridge Foster Care, Georgia's largest private child-placing agency; and

WHEREAS, in 2024, Fostering Success Act Inc. delivered $4 million in financial support to former foster youth pursuing post-secondary education, and since its inception in 2009, FaithBridge has positively impacted nearly 2,000 children and facilitated more than 1,000 family reunifications and over 350 adoptions; and

WHEREAS, Richard L. Jackson's significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately honored during this special time.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Richard L. Jackson, recipient of the 2025 Leaders in Corporate Citizenship Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award, and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Richard L. Jackson.
