A RESOLUTION

Congratulating and commending Keysha J. Porter for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, in 1999, Representative Nikki T. Randall became the first African American female elected to the General Assembly from middle Georgia, and over her 17 years of service as a legislator, she held numerous leadership positions, including chair of the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus; and

WHEREAS, every year during Women's History Month, the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus recognizes outstanding women in Georgia who exemplify the leadership and inspiration embodied by Representative Randall; and

WHEREAS, Keysha J. Porter has built an exceptional career spanning more than two decades in human resources and communications, contributing her expertise across the healthcare, technology, banking, and government sectors; and

WHEREAS, she began her professional journey in the banking industry, refining her skills in HR technology and risk management before transitioning to roles as a federal contractor supporting the United States Navy, United States Marines, and the federal departments of Energy, Defense, and Health and Human Services; and

WHEREAS, she continued her impactful career by advancing leadership development initiatives in the nonprofit sector, serving as the learning & development manager for (RED) in New York City and The ONE Campaign in Washington, D.C.; and

WHEREAS, upon returning to her hometown of Atlanta, she took on her current role at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where she is responsible for designing and implementing educational initiatives that enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals; and

WHEREAS, deeply committed to civic engagement, Keysha J. Porter has further facilitated financial literacy education for students in Junior Achievement of Atlanta, providing mentorship programs for students in Atlanta Public Schools and the Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this extraordinary servant leader be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate and commend Keysha J. Porter for receiving the 2025 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award and extend best wishes for her continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Keysha J. Porter.
