A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab on his outstanding public service; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab, an Agricultural Engineer and Post-Harvest Expert, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Food Buffer Stock Company Ltd - Ghana, where his impactful leadership has contributed to significant advancements in food security and agricultural sustainability; and

WHEREAS, under Mr. Abdul-Wahab's visionary stewardship, NAFCO has undergone remarkable reforms that have significantly bolstered Ghana's food security landscape, including the revitalization of critical infrastructure and the establishment of transformative partnerships that have fortified NAFCO's operational framework; and

WHEREAS, his leadership has facilitated the seamless distribution of food to Senior High Schools across Ghana, a pivotal component of the nation's Free Senior High School program, thereby enhancing nutritional standards and educational outcomes nationwide; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Abdul-Wahab's adept management has transformed NAFCO into a financially self-sustaining entity, achieving profitability and reducing reliance on external funding sources; and

WHEREAS, his initiatives have expanded NAFCO's operational reach throughout the country, effectively mitigating post-harvest losses and optimizing agricultural resources; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab's exemplary achievements underscore his unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in advancing food security and economic resilience in Ghana, setting a benchmark for sustainable agricultural practices and impactful public service; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab for his efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to Ghana and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab.
