A RESOLUTION

Commending Monesha Clark and recognizing March 20, 2025, as TrailBlazing Women in Georgia Day; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, TrailBlazing Women in Georgia Day acknowledges the philanthropic, social, and cultural contributions of women in the state; and

WHEREAS, Monesha Clark has long been recognized for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, known as "Ms. Atl Doll," Monesha is a multi-talented event promoter, media personality, model, and entrepreneur based in Atlanta, Georgia; and

WHEREAS, Monesha is the founder of a revolutionary lipstick and lashes company; the host of DaPostUp, an acclaimed radio and television show centered on life in Atlanta; as well as a writer and red carpet reporter with several prestigious publications; and

WHEREAS, in addition to her media efforts, Monesha recently released her first guidebook titled HustleHer's Playbook: Guide for Boss Babes to Earn Extra Income, aimed at empowering women to achieve financial independence; and

WHEREAS, she thrives in the entertainment industry, using her platform to connect with others, share her journey, and inspire fellow entrepreneurs; and

WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding contributions of this individual be appropriately honored.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Monesha Clark for her efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia; recognize March, 20, 2025, as TrailBlazing Women in Georgia Day; and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Monesha Clark.
