A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Lola Olukuewu; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Lola Olukuewu is a distinguished serial entrepreneur and real estate investor with over two decades of expertise in real estate design, construction, business administration, corporate events, and management; and

WHEREAS, her multifaceted career and entrepreneurial journey highlight her as a beacon of resilience, innovation, and dedication to sustainable development; and

WHEREAS, Olukuewu currently leads five successful businesses across Africa, demonstrating her adeptness at navigating diverse markets and economic landscapes, with three of these businesses launched during the challenging COVID-19 period, highlighting her ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances; and

WHEREAS, she has continued to mentor young professionals and startup founders, recognizing entrepreneurship as a catalyst for personal growth, economic development, employment generation, and ecosystem preservation; and

WHEREAS, Olukuewu's leadership has inspired impactful change within her community and beyond by fostering a culture of innovation, integrity, and social responsibility, which has set a powerful example for future generations of entrepreneurs and business leaders; and

WHEREAS, her contributions to various industries, commitment to mentoring, and advocacy for renewable energy make her an influential and inspiring leader whose impact is felt far beyond the domains of business and entrepreneurship; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Lola Olukuewu for her dedication to excellence in her career and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Lola Olukuewu.
