A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Paul Milliken, Feature Reporter for Fox 5's WAGA-TV's Good Day Atlanta, for his outstanding contributions to journalism and the Atlanta community; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Paul Milliken has established himself as a highly respected and beloved feature reporter for Fox 5's Good Day Atlanta, bringing engaging and dynamic storytelling to viewers across the region; and

WHEREAS, a distinguished Emmy Award-winning meteorologist, Paul has demonstrated exceptional skill in crafting compelling narratives through his expertise in writing, video, still photography, editing, and graphics production; and

WHEREAS, his dedication to highlighting the vibrant culture, history, and people of Atlanta has made a profound impact on the community, inspiring, informing, and entertaining residents with his enthusiastic and insightful reporting; and

WHEREAS, Paul Milliken's versatility extends beyond reporting, as he is also a published author, an experienced public speaker, and a licensed drone pilot, further exemplifying his commitment to innovation and excellence in storytelling; and

WHEREAS, his tireless efforts and passion for journalism have earned him the admiration of his colleagues, community leaders, and countless viewers who appreciate his ability to bring unique and uplifting stories to life; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that Paul Milliken be appropriately recognized for his invaluable service and dedication to enhancing the Atlanta community through his exceptional work in media and journalism.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Paul Milliken for his outstanding contributions to journalism, his unwavering commitment to sharing the diverse and vibrant stories of Atlanta, and extend their best wishes for his continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Paul Milliken.
