A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Stacey Garel; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Stacey Garel has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, Stacey, an Atlanta Native who now resides in Stonecrest, Georgia, is a certified Event Planner and professional writer; and

WHEREAS, she is an Bestselling published author with the 9 times best-selling book Peeling Off The Layers To Unmask New Beginnings; and

WHEREAS, she has worked on National conferences, trade shows, and events such as the 2012 Democratic National Convention for former President Barack Obama as well as the 2013 and 2019 Super Bowls; and

WHEREAS, in 2023, Stacey was nominated for a RICE Award as Founder's Rising and received an Outstanding Citizen Award from the state of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Stacey Garel for her outstanding literary contributions as well as extend sincere best wishes for her continued health, happiness, and success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Stacey Garel.
