A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Serenity Empire Senior Living; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, founded in 2015 from humble beginnings, Serenity Empire Senior Living has since grown into a thriving and respected network composed of seven senior care facilities located throughout the State of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, this distinguished organization has made history as the first Black-owned senior living provider with multiple locations in Georgia, setting a new standard for quality and compassionate care in the industry; and

WHEREAS, Serenity Empire Senior Living further holds the distinction of being the first locally owned assisted living facility in the West Georgia area, delivering care that is deeply rooted in community values; and

WHEREAS, at the core of its success is a team of passionate, loving, and dedicated caregivers who ensure that each resident is treated with dignity and respect through personalized care plans, wellness programs, and enriching community activities; and

WHEREAS, the organization was named Small Business of the Year in 2024 by Douglas County in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the local economy and its role as a model of excellence in senior services; and

WHEREAS, Serenity Empire Senior Living remains steadfast in its mission to create a nurturing and safe environment for seniors during their golden years, continually raising the standard for person-centered care; and

WHEREAS, through its dedication and innovation, Serenity Empire Senior Living serves as an inspiring example of excellence for providers throughout Georgia and beyond, making it abundantly fitting and proper that it be appropriately honored.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize and commend Serenity Empire Senior Living for its commitment to senior well-being, community development, and outstanding leadership in the field of elder care as well as extend best wishes for continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Serenity Empire Senior Living.
