A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Sabrina Keyrra Bradley; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Sabrina Keyrra Bradley served as a guardian of this nation's freedom and liberty with the United States Army, valiantly and courageously protecting her fellow Americans from 1975 to 2005; and

WHEREAS, she served in multiple leadership roles, including Emergency Plans and Operations Officer and Medical Logistics Officer, and commanded a Headquarters Company during the Gulf War; and

WHEREAS, following her retirement from active duty, she continued federal service as a Hazardous Materials Investigator with the United States Department of Transportation; and

WHEREAS, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Bradley has contributed more than 6,000 volunteer hours supporting veteran and community organizations including Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, the National Association of Black Military Women, the Georgia Military Women, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizens Academy Alumni Association; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this extraordinary Georgian be appropriately honored.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Sabrina Keyrra Bradley's unwavering commitment to volunteerism and community service and commend her for her over 30 years of dedicated service to her country and state.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Sabrina Keyrra Bradley.
