A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending B High ATL (BHIGHTV) for its outstanding contributions to hip-hop media, cultural preservation, and community engagement; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, B High ATL (BHIGHTV) stands as one of the Southern region's leading hip-hop media platforms, delivering authentic conversations, exclusive interviews, and cultural insight from the heart of Atlanta, Georgia; and

WHEREAS, B High ATL was founded and is hosted by esteemed media personality and educator Brian "B High" Hightower alongside co-host Roderick "Wicked" Barber, whose combined efforts have created a platform that bridges the gap between artists, industry professionals, and the broader community; and

WHEREAS, through its commitment to highlighting the real stories behind the music, B High ATL has provided a voice to artists, producers, DJs, and influential figures, capturing the depth, diversity, and evolution of hip-hop culture; and

WHEREAS, with a digital reach exceeding 350,000 subscribers and more than 140 million views, BHIGHTV has established itself as a trusted and impactful voice within the entertainment industry, particularly in elevating the Southern hip-hop narrative; and H. R. 49EX

WHEREAS, the platform is widely respected for its raw and unfiltered interview style, preserving the history and documenting the cultural significance of hip-hop while fostering meaningful dialogue within the community; and

WHEREAS, beyond entertainment, B High ATL serves as an educational and inspirational resource, offering audiences valuable insight into the business, lifestyle, and enduring legacy of hip-hop culture; and

WHEREAS, through consistent content creation, strong industry relationships, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity, BHIGHTV continues to shape conversations, uplift voices, and preserve the stories that define the Culture.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend B High ATL (BHIGHTV) for its significant contributions to media, culture, and the State of Georgia as well as extend their sincere appreciation for its role in amplifying the voices and stories of the hip-hop community.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to B High ATL (BHIGHTV).
