  1. No clerk of any superior court or state court shall charge any fee for providing any certified copy of any record or portion thereof requested by a prosecuting attorney in this state for use in any criminal case.

Both Ga. L. 1996, p. 747 and Ga. L. 1996, p. 748 enacted a Code Section 15-1-13. Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 1996, Code Section 15-1-13 as enacted by Ga. L. 1996, p. 748, was redesignated as Code Section 15-13-36.
