31-52-7. Coverage under health benefit plan permitted but not required.

A health benefit plan or governmental agency may provide coverage for the cost of any investigational drug, biological product, or device pursuant to this article; provided, however, that nothing in this article shall be construed to require a health benefit plan or governmental agency to provide coverage for the cost of any investigational drug, biological product, or device pursuant to this article.

Amendments
