32-6-78. Restrictions on public service signs.

  1. No public service sign authorized by paragraph (1) of Code Section 32-6-72 or paragraph (1) of Code Section 32-6-73 shall be erected or maintained which:

  2. (1)

    Is attached to a school bus shelter, the construction of which is not authorized by state law or local ordinance;#

  3. (2)

    Is attached to a school bus shelter located at a place not approved by the governmental agency having jurisdiction of the highway along which said shelter is located;#

  4. (3)

    Contains an area, to be measured by the smallest square, rectangle, triangle, circle, or combination thereof, which encompasses the entire sign, in excess of 32 square feet; or#

  5. (4)

    Creates a situation in which there is more than one sign facing in any one direction on each shelter.#
