33-20C-4. Information and searchable format for directories; exclusion for dental plans.

The insurer shall make available through an online provider directory, for each network plan, the following information, in a searchable format:#

   For healthcare professionals:#

   1. (A)

      Name;#

   2. (B)

      Gender;#

   3. (C)

      Contact information;#

   4. (D)

      Participating office location or locations;#

   5. (E)

      Specialty, if applicable;#

   6. (F)

      Board certifications, if applicable;#

   7. (G)

      Medical group affiliations, if applicable;#

   8. (H)

      Participating facility affiliations, if applicable;#

   9. (I)

      Languages spoken other than English by the healthcare professional or clinical staff, if applicable;#

   10. (J)

       Tier; and#

   11. (K)

       Whether they are accepting new patients;#

2. (2)

   For hospitals:#

   1. (A)

      Hospital name;#

   2. (B)

      Hospital type, such as acute, rehabilitation, children’s, or cancer;#

   3. (C)

      Participating hospital location;#

   4. (D)

      Hospital accreditation status;#

   5. (E)

      Telephone number; and#

   6. (F)

      Health benefit plan surprise bill rating; and#

3. (3)

   For facilities other than hospitals:#

   1. (A)

      Facility name;#

   2. (B)

      Facility type;#

   3. (C)

      Types of services performed;#

   4. (D)

      Participating facility location or locations; and#

   5. (E)

      Telephone number.#

Paragraphs (2) and (3) of subsection (a) of this Code section shall not apply to standalone dental plans.#
