36-13-8. Notice and hearing prior to enactment of codes, rules, or regulations.

  1. Before enacting any of the codes, rules, or regulations permitted in this chapter, the county governing authority shall hold a public hearing thereon. At least 15 days’ notice of the time and place of the hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county.
