36-6-18. Arrangements for payment of interest on deposits; disposition of interest payments.

  1. The county treasurers are authorized to arrange with the bank to pay interest on the money deposited with the bank, but they are not required to do so. Any money received by them as interest must be paid by them into the treasury of the county.
