42-3-1. Definitions.

  1. As used in this chapter, the term:

  2. (1)

    “Board” means the Board of Community Supervision.#

  3. (2)

    “Commissioner” means the commissioner of community supervision.#

  4. (3)

    “Community supervision officer” means an individual employed by DCS who supervises probationers or parolees.#

  5. (4)

    “DCS” means the Department of Community Supervision.#

  6. (5)

    “Split sentence” means any felony sentence that includes a term of imprisonment followed by a term of probation.#
