43-35-2. Purpose.

  1. This chapter is enacted for the purpose of safeguarding the public health, safety, and welfare by providing for administrative control, supervision, and regulation of the practice of podiatric medicine in this state. The practice of podiatric medicine is declared to be affected with the public interest.
