43-49-1. Purpose of chapter.

  1. The purpose of this chapter is to identify all used, rebuilt, or reconditioned watches by requiring them to be marked ‘‘secondhand,’’ so as to safeguard the public and prevent the public from being misled when purchasing used, rebuilt, or reconditioned watches and to prevent them from being sold as new watches.
