43-50-90. Establishing standards for facilities and equipment; monitoring, investigation, and enforcement actions.

(a)
The board shall work cooperatively with licensed veterinarians to establish standards for veterinary facilities and equipment and shall promulgate rules for same.#
(b)
The board shall have the authority to establish a method to monitor veterinary facilities, conduct investigations and hold proceedings related to alleged violations, and take necessary enforcement action against the license of a veterinarian or licensed veterinary technicians for violations of rules promulgated under subsection (a) of this Code section.#
