Ga. L. 2025, p. 332, § 5-7/SB 96, repealed and reserved this Code section, effective July 1, 2025. Ga. L. 2025, p. 332, § 5-11/SB 96, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: “Any assets of the Governor’s Office for Children and Families existing as of June 30, 2025, shall devolve by operation of law and without further action to the State of Georgia on July 1, 2025. Any liabilities and obligations of the Governor’s Office for Children and Families existing as of June 30, 2025, shall be transferred to and assumed by the State of Georgia, by such instruments as may be required to maintain the same.” The former part, relating to the Governor’s Office for Children and Families, consisted of Code Sections 49-5-130 through 49-5-135.
