  1. Compliance alternatives for unenclosed or improperly enclosed exit stairways or vertical shafts include, but are not limited to, the following:

  2. (1)

    Improve enclosure of exit stairway;#

  3. (2)

    Add a partial fire suppression system;#

  4. (3)

    Add a sprinkler draft curtain; or#

  5. (4)

    Add a smoke detection system.#
