A RESOLUTION

Commending MiAsia Symone and recognizing March 20, 2025, as TrailBlazing Women in Georgia Day; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, TrailBlazing Women in Georgia Day acknowledges the philanthropic, social, and cultural contributions of women in the state; and

WHEREAS, MiAsia Symone has long been recognized for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, MiAsia is a multifaceted radio, digital, and television personality who currently hosts Atlanta's number one hip-hop station, Hot 107.9; and

WHEREAS, she is founder and owner of the prestigious muli-media production company MSL Media and Entertainment as well as the successful boutique House of Heels; and

WHEREAS, as a testament to her commitment and unwavering support of her hometown, MiAsia started the Hands on the Future Foundation, that hosts community events with an emphasis on giving back in Atlanta, Georgia; and

WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding contributions of this individual be appropriately honored.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend MiAsia Symone for her efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia; recognize March, 20, 2025, as TrailBlazing Women in Georgia Day; and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to MiAsia Symone.
