A RESOLUTION
Honoring the life and legacy of Trooper Chase Winston Redner; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Trooper Chase Winston Redner was highly respected by the citizens of his community, the State of Georgia, and his fellow public servants, known for his integrity, dedication, and commitment to the principles of law enforcement; and
WHEREAS, Trooper Redner was born on January 5, 1993, the beloved son of Linda Stancil-Redner and Richard Redner; and
WHEREAS, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Georgia and graduated from the 103rd Trooper School with the Georgia State Patrol; and
WHEREAS, Trooper Redner was a valued member of the Specialized Crash Reconstruction Team, demonstrating devotion to duty, leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in his work; and
WHEREAS, Trooper Redner tragically lost his life in the line of duty on February 20, 2024; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that this distinguished Georgian be recognized and honored for his service and sacrifice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body honor the life and legacy of Trooper Chase Winston Redner. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the family of Trooper Chase Winston Redner.
