A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending the Coweta County Cattlemen's Association for its exemplary performance at the 2025 Georgia Cattlemen's Association Convention; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Coweta County Cattlemen's Association earned top honors at the 2025 Georgia Cattlemen's Association Convention, bringing home three major awards: the Chapter of the Year Award, the Highest Membership Percentage Award, and the 3rd Quarter '24 Top Membership Recruiter Award; and

WHEREAS, these achievements were recognized with three commemorative plaques and two significant prizes—a mobile chute sponsored by Priefert and a quarter-mile of fencing supplies sponsored by Pasture Management; and

WHEREAS, under the leadership of President Penny Bowie, the Coweta County Cattlemen's Association has become the largest, fastest-growing, and most active chapter in Georgia, rising to the top among 159 chapters statewide; and

WHEREAS, the Coweta County Cattlemen's Association has more than doubled its membership through its welcoming atmosphere, educational programs, and infectious enthusiasm for promoting cattle and beef; and

WHEREAS, the association provides engaging opportunities for both ranchers and non-ranchers to gather, enjoy meals, and share knowledge, creating an inclusive space for all who are passionate about cattle and agriculture; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable organization be appropriately honored during this special time.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend the Coweta County Cattlemen's Association for its outstanding accomplishments at the 2025 Georgia Cattlemen's Association Convention as well as extend best wishes for continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Coweta County Cattlemen's Association.
