A RESOLUTION

Commending John "JT" Marshburn on his election as Secretary of the College Republican National Committee; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, John "JT" Marshburn, a native of Athens, Georgia, and a student at Georgia College and State University, has been elected to serve as Secretary of the College Republican National Committee (CRNC), a distinguished national organization dedicated to engaging young conservatives and fostering leadership among college students across the country; and

WHEREAS, the CRNC, founded in 1892, is the oldest conservative youth organization in the United States and serves as the official collegiate youth arm of the Republican National Committee (RNC), playing a crucial role in shaping the future of the conservative movement; and

WHEREAS, John Marshburn has demonstrated exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment to the values and mission of the CRNC, working diligently to advance conservative principles and empower the next generation of leaders; and

WHEREAS, his election is a testament to his outstanding service, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the Republican movement, and he has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers through his hard work and commitment to excellence; and

WHEREAS, in this esteemed role, John Marshburn will be responsible for ensuring the effective administration and communication of the CRNC, playing a vital role in the organization's success and continued growth, while also proudly representing the state of Georgia on the national stage; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding achievements and service of this remarkable young leader be appropriately recognized and commended.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend John "JT" Marshburn on his election as Secretary of the College Republican National Committee and extend their best wishes for his continued success in this important leadership role.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to John "JT" Marshburn.
