A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Joann Herrell; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Joann Herrell is a distinguished and well respected real estate professional, known for her integrity, expertise, and unwaveringly positive outlook; and

WHEREAS, during her more than 50 year career, Joann established a glowing reputation of renown throughout Georgia as well as earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates; and

WHEREAS, as the former owner of Westberry Realty, a Century 21 franchise, Joann demonstrated her significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and diplomacy, as well as her keen sense of vision; and

WHEREAS, Joann attributes her success to a simple yet powerful philosophy, to “never say never” and remains positive through challenging situations; and

WHEREAS, deeply rooted in her community, Joann is a dedicated member of Villa Rica First Methodist Church and a proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great- great-grandmother; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize and commend Joann Herrell for her positivity, hard work, and the courage to “never say never.”

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Joann Herrell.
