36-69A-3. Definitions.

  1. As used in this chapter, the term:

  2. (1)

    “Public agency” means:#

    1. (A)

      Any political subdivision of this state other than a county school district or independent school district;#

    2. (B)

      Any volunteer fire department;#

    3. (C)

      Any volunteer rescue squad;#

    4. (D)

      Any agency of the state government or of the United States; and#

    5. (E)

      Any political subdivision of another state.#

  3. (2)

    “State” means a state of the United States.#
